Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. The quote tool collects only gender, birth date, general health description, tobacco use, desired coverage amount and term length—six pieces of information. Your name, address and detailed health history are requested only if you decide to proceed with an application.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
These are carrier rates for the health tier you indicated. The final amount you pay is established by the carrier after its underwriting process, which may result in the same category, a better one, or a change. This site shows estimated prices for comparison only and does not guarantee any rate, approval, or coverage.
What happens when I click Apply?
You'll be directed into a secure application that's already filled with your responses. The process runs on the carriers' system and is handled by Susman Insurance Agency, a California-licensed firm (License 0B75129). You may save your progress and return later, and you sign digitally when ready.
Will I need a medical exam?
That depends on the carrier, the amount of coverage, and your answers. Several carriers now support accelerated underwriting that can approve qualified applicants immediately, using application details, medication history, and driving records instead of a physical exam. Each quote shows the exam requirement for that specific product.
Is a longer term better?
A term should be long enough to protect the period when your loss would hit your household's finances hardest—while you're paying a mortgage, while children are growing up, while loans exist. Longer terms mean higher monthly costs but fixed rates for more years. The tool compares 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30-year options.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quote tool doesn't request personal contact information, we never buy or exchange visitor data, and our analytics don't use cookies. Visit the privacy page for specifics on what gets collected and by whom.
